Looking Through The Window

I am sitting in my living looking out the window as I write this. We have to be careful what we say and write since the military police take over of my country.

It has been a few years since it happened. There have been threats of attacks from other countries or with in the country.

There was large-scale attack years ago that put the country in fear. Our leader declared attacks on other counties. There were some people that were suspicious over the events that happened before, during, and after this event.

Day after day there were news reports of terrorist threats, people arrested for connected to terrorist groups, or anyone that looked suspicious. Some of the people I know and myself stopped watching the news and turned to the alternative news on the Internet and radio.

The alternative news talked about things that the media never mentioned. There was talk about happenings at terrorist events and at invading of countries.

Over time more and more were concerned over what was really going on in this country. Videos were made and passed on to others about dealings and events going on behind the scenes of our leadership. Federal authorises tried to stop them but others found ways around it.

Every day the leader repeated that the invaded countries were responsible and that we had to stay the course. He ordered that the soldiers that are supposed to be protecting our country to be sent the front lines in the war. Funding for programs that help the people went to fund the war machine put the country back into debt.

There was another disaster and it didn’t come from a terrorist. A natural disaster, that could have been prepared for in advance, wreaked havoc through a coastal city. Help came late and many died. Witnesses saw that the ones who are supposed to help cut the emergency lines, with hold food, and turned away other help that came.

People were losing support for the leader and his party. The leader kept telling the people if you don’t support the wars, the terrorists would get us.

More terror attacks happened under mysterious circumstances and our country became a police state.

Government agents supervised all forms of communication and cameras with microphones appeared on the streets. Television, Internet, and radio became monitored for activity against the later. Web sites and stations against the leader got shut down.

Troops now patrol the streets looking for trouble. Terror alerts happen every other day or how the government agents foiled another rebel group plotting a coup against the leader. People that once spoke the words against the leader disappeared or appeared to kill themselves.

More people began to disappear over the months most of them were ones that disagreed with the leader’s policies. Rumours of camps were the leader’s agents took their enemies began to spread.

Soon the children began to be taken from the homes. The leader declared that our children needed to be sent away to special schools to learn the ways of the leader and protect them from the rebels. My nephew was taken and my brother’s family hasn’t had contact with him since.

People once thought years ago that we would never end up this way, living in a country like this after other dictatorships like this in the past were stopped. We thought it would never happen again. It can too late when many realized the truth.

War of the Broadcasts

In the past, radio was a medium to get information across to the to the people of the world. It was the television of the past.

On October 30, 1938, Orson Welles' Mercury Theatre on the Air had a Halloween Special. Those who tuned in when the show began would of heard a disclaimer telling the audience that the following broadcast was live broadcast of an adaptation of H. G. Wells' classic novel The War of the Worlds. Two thirds of the listeners that night missed the disclaimer by channel surfing and they thought a series of what to be news broadcasts of an alien invasion real and the country was put in a panic.

Today, video is one of the biggest mediums to get information across. It can be used to entertain, teach, show current events, or to scare like radios did in the past. Video can be seen in movie theatres, television, the Internet, and some billboards. With the use of computers and other technology videos are getting better in the film and television industry every year.

Video is a good propaganda tool to keep the masses in fear. Mainstream news repeats over and over images of a terror event that happens in the world, what the "officials" say what happened at this event, and censors out what witnesses really saw. There will be reports about how to protect yourself and to tell you to tattle on your family or neighbours. Reports would say that the changes around you and new laws would protect you from the "terrorists". If a person wants to give another view of the situation or try to oppose the truth, they are demonized.

Most people seem to believe it what they see.

Censoring Video

Currently in television there is at least a few second delay on some live broadcasts to censor offensive language or actions. Depending what country you live in, movies and television are censored by beeping out offensive word or removing certain scenes.

BBC has been talking about putting delays in broadcast in events similar to 9/11 to censor out what is deemed too sensitive to the viewers. It would good to edit out such things as close ups of people jumping from the building which was filmed at 9/11. On the other hand, delaying video could hide such things as evidence.

One of the 9/11 videos has been altered. In the original footage of one of the aerial views of the burning towers of the World Trade Center, a plane or helicopter can be seen flying near the towers. In repeated broadcasts of this footage, the plane or helicopters is gone. You can see the original footage on some 9/11 films such as Alex Jone's 9/11: The Road to Tyranny.

Suppressing Video

Certain videos of terrorism events have been suppressed recently over the years. Most of people relied on what mainstream new had to says about the terror event and view recreations. Information would always change what happened.

In the case of the OKC Bombing of 1995, the FBI took the video footage from cameras that were pointed towards the area.

Washington has the most cameras watching over the city in the world. With in 15 minutes, FBI took the footage of every camera pointed at the Pentagon. Only a few frames of the plane hitting the Pentagon but some people argue that it was the plane or not. In my opinion, it looks like something an expert could of created in Photoshop using the smoke and fire added in on different layers. Plus the timestamp on the video is dated September 12.

The London Bombings can be another example. Police have taken the footage of the London Bombings of 7/7 and 7/21. There have been protests for this footage to be released. Some frames of the suspects have been shown but some photo experts have claimed that at least one of the bombers in one of the video frames released was super imposed into the image. Information kept changing from suicide bombers to timed devices and then back to suicide bombers.

The reason that that footage could be confiscated and not shown could be it can reveal evidence that the government doesn't want you to see. Putting a video in slow motion or looking frame by frame can reveal a lot.

In the case of the shooting of JFK, a lot of details can be revealed from videos from that day can be seen. One being the open windows on the parade route because the Secret Service are required to make sure those windows are closed. As the car turns the corner and it passes the “Grassy Knoll”, the car slows down and JFK appears to be choking before the final bullet takes his life. If you look on one of the JFK videos, show it down, and enhance one of the bushes, you would see what appears to be a man with a rifle.

In a World Trade Center video on 9/11, blast points can be seen going down the building as it is collapsing. WTC Building 7 showed a classic crimp that comes with a controlled implosion.

Faking an Attack

There was a movie called Wag The Dog. It was about the president of the United States created a fake war to distract the public from a sex scandal.

Hollywood has been shooting war and combat films for years with special effects getting better all the time. All there is to fake a war or an attack would be a sound stage, blue or green screen, or a large patch of land that is out of the public eye.

With special effect technicians, actors and reporters on the payroll in the area, the fake attack or war is filmed. Some of it is brought into a video editing house also on the payroll to be edited and other effects added.

Then the footage is given to all media outlets.

Video to Show The Truth

Video can be also used to show the truth that the "Truth Police" have been trying to suppress. Documentaries with evidence to support the information the person is trying to get across can be very powerful.

Only 1% of the people in America have an open mind and see what is really going on in the world and connect the dots. A person can copy a DVD or VHS and give it to some people and they give it to some people, the truth can spread fast to the people who what to listen.

Filming by the public is starting to be restricted. During the GOP convention of 2004 in New York City, many people have been threatened with arrest or arrested for taking pictures or filming the protests or being in certain areas.

In the future, video would be still used as propaganda tool like radio still is. It would be almost imposable that another radio or a television show to scare a nation like the War of the Worlds broadcast because disclaimers are required to play within the broadcast to remind the viewers/listeners if a broadcast is fictional or not.

Today's Animal Farm

George Orwell wrote the book, Animal Farm. It was about the animals taking over the farm after overthrowing their human handlers after learning the truth from a pig named Old Major. At first all was good with the animals learning to take care of the farm themselves. They were lead by the pigs named Snowball and Napoleon.

Snowball was more upfront about his ideas making more animals be on his side. He created a set of rules based on the vision of the pig, Old Major:

1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
3. No animal shall wear clothes.
4. No animal shall sleep in a bed.
5. No animal shall drink alcohol.
6. No animal shall kill any other animal.
7. All animals are equal.

Napoleon overthrows Snowball, calling him a criminal. He started disobeying the rules and got his way by changing them. When the rules questioned, the animals were told it was for the best of the farm and to prevent the return of the humans. While the pigs lived the easy life with getting everything they needed. The other animals worked long hours, getting little food.

America is slowly becoming like Animal Farm. The book was originally to represent Soviet Russia but there are many similarities between Animal Farm and today with America.

President George Bush would be a good match to Napoleon. Napoleon was crafty in winning the animal’s support by claiming that Snowball was the criminal and was trying to bring their human handlers back. In comparison, Bush was using fear of the “terrorists” going to attack America and repeating about 9/11 to keep the people on his side.

In the story there was a character called Boxer who was a horse and was the most loyal worker on the farm. He represents the working class of people that were blind to their leader’s corrupting ways. He was unwilling to see what was really going on until it was too late. Some of the American people are this way. They are unable to see truth about their leader even when it is staring in their faces.

One point in the story the animals build a windmill. When it was first destroyed, Napoleon blamed it on Snowball. He made Snowball a villain to the farm and purged the farm of animals that looked like they worked for him. This is like when innocent people were blamed for working for the terrorists were sent to Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib or other countries that promote the use of torture.

There is a character named Benjamin, who was a donkey. He was one of the few that saw what the pigs were really doing. He would represent the people that were suspicious of the government. In America, the media demonizes most people who act like this. They are the people that seek the truth about 9/11 and disapproved of the Iraq War.

The dogs in Animal Farm were used to watch over the animals. They would be a good representation of the FBI and CIA enforcing the Patriot Act. The puppies would represent the children that learning to live a police state and not question it.

Speaking of the Patriot Act, just like the when the Animal Rules were changed in the middle of the night is similar to how the Patriot Act was passed.

The rules of the became this:

1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
3. No animal shall wear clothes.
4. No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets
5. No animal shall drink alcohol to excess.
6. No animal shall kill any other animal without cause.
7. All animals are equal.

There was another character named Squealer. He is would be a good representation of the Mainstream Media that promote propaganda that keeps the people scared and makes people follow their ideas. Squealer promoted that the pigs’ actions would prevent the humans from coming back, just like the media promoted the Bush Administration’s actions would prevent the terrorists from attacking America.

Like on Animal Farm, the people are losing their freedoms. Those that questioned their leader were demonized or executed.

The rules of the farm became this:

All animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others.

The animals that followed their leader didn’t realise the truth until it was too late. The farm was in ruins. The animals couldn’t tell the difference between human and pig.

Another example of a previous Animal Farm would be Germany during the Nazi-era. Millions were killed during that era. The Germans that survived that era see what is going on in America are leaving with their families back to Europe.

I hope that America doesn’t end up that way when power corrupts the leader and causes a drastic effect on its people. I advise people to wake up and prepare for what is to come, before it is too late.

Thunderstorm Last Night

There was a thunderstorm last night and my dog, Tasha was scared. She went all over the house looking for a place to hide. She even hid in the the bath tub upstairs.

Well, I got a new blog.

Currently I am working on a site for a Real Estate agency and redesigning my own site. I plan to get my own hosting and domain name soon.

Well, the forum I co-admin has now 1000 members. I was recently organizing the Forum by topic and moving old posts from "Breaking News" (now Mainstream News) into the newer topics.
